About Pullman Wash Co
Pullman Wash Co was built by two people who have been doing this work long enough to know what the Palouse commercial market actually needs and what it has been missing.
Kris Ott founded The Bright Side in 2024 after building and selling Cleaner Windows LLC in Boise, a window and exterior cleaning company he grew from a 1991 Isuzu pickup with no air conditioning into a fully staffed operation with a waiting list. He has been in the exterior cleaning industry since 2013 and brought that experience north when he and his wife Tessa moved to Spokane.
Mark Hilby founded Grace Pressure Washing in Spokane and built it into one of the most comprehensive exterior cleaning operations in the Eastern Washington market. Grace runs one of the longest service lists of any company in the region and has built a reputation for showing up and doing the work right on jobs that other companies turn down.
Together we have over two decades of combined experience in exterior cleaning across Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Between The Bright Side and Grace Pressure Washing we have the equipment, the experience, and the commercial capability to handle projects that most regional operators cannot take on.
Pullman Wash Co is the Palouse extension of that combined capability. Not a franchise. Not a side project. A company built specifically for this market with the commercial focus and the right equipment to serve it properly.
Why the Palouse
The Pullman and Moscow market has been underserved for commercial exterior cleaning. The operators working this area are primarily residential focused without hot water equipment or water reclaim capability. Companies from Spokane occasionally drive down for larger jobs but treat the Palouse as a secondary market.
We saw a gap and we filled it.
The Palouse has real commercial exterior cleaning needs. Apartment complexes serving thousands of WSU and U of I students. Gas stations and fuel islands along the Highway 195 corridor. Restaurant and commercial dumpster pads. Municipal and government facilities throughout Whitman County. University adjacent commercial properties with specific environmental compliance requirements.
None of those jobs are being served well by residential operators without commercial grade equipment. Pullman Wash Co was built to change that.
What We Bring to the Palouse
Hot water pressure washing up to 250 degrees for oil, grease, and commercial contamination that cold water cannot handle. Full water reclaim capability for EPA compliant cleaning near storm drains and on fuel islands. Commercial scale capacity for multi-building apartment complex washing, large commercial concrete projects, and multi-day jobs that require planning and coordination rather than just showing up with a trailer.
This is a joint effort with a purpose. Two companies, two decades of combined experience, one operation focused entirely on serving the Palouse.
